WASHINGTON DC – On April 24, US President delivered his annual Armenian Genocide address once again failing to come up with a new synonym for the Genocide. For three years now, Obama has been redundantly resorting to “Medz Yeghern”,  falling short of the decades-long White House tradition to improvise and come up with new  exciting diplomatic references to the Armenian tragedy.

YEREVAN –The scandal around the European Council Co-Rapporteur on Armenia, John  Prescott, continues to develop among the Armenian media. Early on Wednesday, the Press cornered the EC official in the Marriott lobby for an interview. However, he refused to give any comment about his stance on political prisoners or other issues in Armenia. One of the reporters, Gagik Shamshayan, managed to discreetly capture a quick photo of Prescott touching himself, which has now been perceived as a political message to the                                                                 authorities.

Aliyev attends opening ceremony of new Elite Tent City near Baku

BAKU  - Early on Tuesday, President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced the country’s strategic plans for the coming decade. The President assured that with the continued current economic growth and a smart spending policy, the Government will be able to increase the number of Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons from one to four million as early as the year 2020.

Aliyev called the project “Azerbaijan 2020″ and promised an increase in government support in order to achieve the new milestone in the war against Armenia.

“Despite the relative truce over Karabakh, we work relentlessly to defeat Armenia. With every year our economy affords us more and more refugees,” claimed Azerbaijani president. “Just imagine 4 million pairs of eyes sadly looking at the Europeans, Americans and Russians..
