National Assembly adopts the bill with "no swallow" reservation urged by Dashnaks

YEREVAN – Early On Tuesday the National Assembly ratified the long disputed bill on oral liberties endorsed by European Council. After four parliamentary sessions, the bill finally was adopted although remains highly controversial. Right wing nationalist parties championed by Dashnaks have voted against the legislation calling it “anti-Armenian”, “anti-Christian” and “anti-demographic”.

For over two-decades of post Soviet Armenia, the society has struggled patiently to identify the niche of blowjob in the conservative mentality of the people. Turkey's New Precondition: Sargsyan Must Attend Gul's Birthday Party

Turkish side pushed out a new precondition for opening Turkish-Armenian border that quickly electrified the dispute between Armenia and the Diaspora. The new precondition demands Serzh Sargsyan to participate at Abdullah Gul’s 58^th birthday party. Celebration is expected to feature all the standard procedures: hugging, wishing well, birthday cards, gifts, drinking, candle-blowing and calling up a taxi.

Dashnaks were quick to respond by organizing a multi-dozen rally in front of the MFA. “This definitely is a trap for Armenia. We do not oppose birthday celebration, but we are concerned that toasts to Gul’s health are likely to be voiced at the table, which is unacceptable. Nation devided over hotter celebrity choice

Fall session of Parliament started with heated debate over bill on hottest US celebrity. MPs split into groups supporting Angelina Jolie and those claiming that Jennifer Lopez is more grab-worthy. Opposition vows to call on massive civil unrest if Jolie bill is adopted.

To remind, last fall Russian Federation ratified a piece of legislation calling Angelina Jolie “super hot” which was followed by similar legislations appearing in Tajikistan and Belarus, as well as break-away republics of Abkhazia and South Osetia who recognized Jolie “really hot.” This was met by protest on part of Georgia. “Georgian constitution clearly states that Jennifer Lopez is twice as hot as Jolie. Obviously, Russia is simply once again trying to make me look like a… clown.. or idiot, I’m not sure.. But this is totally unacceptable. Europeans have recognized me ‘a really nice guy’. Police Pride Parade Blows Downtown Yerevan

'We are police and proud of it!'

Mashtots avenue in downtown Yerevan was covered with marching traffic police officers late Friday celebrating their liberties and chanting slogans “give police a chance,” “pull over, now” among others.

Armenian police have been under severe social denial for the past few decades, but as more liberal moods begin to awake in newly independent Armenia, more police officers disband the veil of shyness and publicly exhibit their identity to the nation.

“I’m proud to be who I am and I don’t care what people think. Public opinion does not decide my personal choices,” says one of the marchers, captain Abgar Popikyan walking in vanguard of the parade. “At first I was humbled to reveal my identity to family and friends, but it’s just not right to deny it.
